Responsible Tourism
Whilst assisting our clients in the realisation of their travel dreams, at the same time we aim to encourage responsible tourism. This means making a positive, rather than negative impact on the local society, culture, economy and environment. We are dedicated to making the world a better place by treating people and the environment in a responsible and respectful way.
Following these few basic guidelines will help your holiday to be a positive experience both for you and the local people of the county in which you are travelling:
- Think Local! Wherever possible, use locally-owned accommodation, local tour operators and guides, eat local food, and buy local produce.
- Have respect for the local communities and their environment, and be aware of how to behave.
- Dispose of rubbish carefully, recycle where possible, and minimise power/water use.
All of our travellers will be provided with information prior to departure which will encourage responsible tourism. This will include information on religious and social customs and behaviour, key words in the local language, how to dress appropriately, not purchasing products made from endangered species or materials, and paying a fair price for a product.
